This definition of the poor describes many of us who seek healing, love and hope. The thirst we all have can only be quenched by God. We are all poor, whether spiritually or materially, and we are all called into a reconciled relationship with Christ. As a result, Quench Foundation’s goal is to love with God's unfailing love, and bring those who are marginalized Hope in Him.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:11
"Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; You will cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’Isaiah 58:9

“least of my brethren…the hungry and the lonely, not only for food but for the Word of God; the thirsty and the ignorant, not only for water but also for knowledge, peace, truth, justice, and love; the naked and the unloved, not only for clothes but also for human dignity; the unwanted, the unborn child; the racially discriminated against; the homeless and abandoned, not only for a shelter made of bricks, but for a heart that understands, that covers, that loves; the sick, the dying destitute, and the captives, not only in body but also in mind and spirit: all those who have lost all hope and faith in life, the alcoholics and drug addicts and all those who have lost God and who have lost all hope in the power of the Spirit.” These are the poor. Mother Teresa
Imagine having the faith to give more than you are able to give? It is our earnest desire to be able to also excel in this grace of giving. Because of the love God has shown us by the death, burial, and resurrection of His son, Jesus Christ, we want to share that love with others.
God calls us to a live a life of generosity, whether with our time or resources. Therefore, we are using our talents and personal and business resources to develop Quench – Our Mission to give back. Why? Because God first loved us, and it is through Him that we have life.
“We love because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19
“And now, brothers and sisters, we want you to know about the grace that God has given...In the midst of a very severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the Lord’s people. And they exceeded our expectations: They gave themselves first of all to the Lord, and then by the will of God also to us...But since you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you—see that you also excel in this
grace of giving.” 2 Corinthians 8:1-7
